GGS is a 'know-how'-based groundwater engineering company located in North West England. We provide a personal and professional service to the geothermal industry throughout the UK. The company was established in 2007 by Jonathan Steven who is a qualified hydrogeologist and who has worked in the UK waterwell industry over the past 25 years. He has had direct involvement with numerous geothermal projects over the last 5 years. Jonathan brings specialist skills to the open-loop ground source heat pump marketplace where knowledge of groundwater occurrence and quality is fundamentally important. Through our association with other hydrogeologists and groundwater engineers we are able to extend our full range of services throughout the UK.
For large scale commercial geo-energy projects we are able to call upon thermogeological and geochemical modeling services via our specialist partners.
GGS is focused on delivering all the necessary knowledge and supporting services to enable development and delivery of water and heat supply projects.
Our approach to these projects is based on conventional waterwell engineering combined and fully integrated with the best available ground source heat pump technology.
GGS is a full member of the Well Drillers Association and is able to use the services of the most experienced waterwell engineering contractors in the UK.
